Nellie Gail Ranch Clubhouse Laguna Hills, CA

The original clubhouse was designed and constructed in the early 1970’s at a time when the housing was modest and dedicated for equestrian use. Smith Architects was commissioned to update the appearance of the clubhouse and reestablish the Nellie Gail brand as a premier equestri-an estate community in south Orange County. The non-descript ranch style was replaced with a recognizable Spanish Colonial architectural style. Interior spaces were reoriented and repurposed and the entire site received an accessibility upgrade to accommodate all users.
