A 4,115 square feet custom home designed for a retired couple in the exclusive community of Montreux just outside Reno, Nevada. The home was designed to comply with the community mandate for an “Alpine” architecture while meeting the client’s programmatic requirements for open plan single level living and entertaining, views of the snow covered mountains and a second level that could be converted into bedrooms for the growing number of grandchildren.
